Whitney Biennial 2014

I was happily surprised that as I walked through the 4th floor of the 2014 Whitney Biennial, my friend and I commented to each other that we could not believe it, but we were interested in everything. I appreciated the curatorial perspective of Michelle Grabner. I found a strong personal connection to her focus on the artists' hand, handmade objects, tactile materials and rich color. It was really significant to see so many women and artists from the Midwest represented.
